Delete Your Account

Wrench Wise™ by McGlyn Consulting, LLC

You can request permanent deletion of your Wrench Wise account and all associated data. This page explains what gets deleted and how to request it.

Free Users (No Account)

If you use Wrench Wise without creating an account, all your data is stored only on your device. It is never sent to our servers. To delete it:

• Uninstall the app — this removes all locally stored data, or
• Clear app data — go to your device Settings > Apps > Wrench Wise > Storage > Clear Data

No further action is needed. We have no server-side data to delete for free users.

Premium Users and Web Users

If you created an account (signed up with an email address), your data is stored on our servers. You can delete it using either option below.

Option 1: Delete from Within the App

If you have the Wrench Wise app installed, you can delete your account directly:

1. Open the Wrench Wise app and sign in
2. Tap the Settings gear icon
3. Scroll to the Danger Zone section
4. Tap Delete My Account
5. Review the data that will be deleted
6. Enter your password and confirm

Option 2: Request Deletion Here

If you no longer have the app installed, enter the email address associated with your account. We will send you a confirmation link to verify your identity before deleting your data.

What Gets Deleted

When a registered account is deleted, the following server-side data is permanently removed:

• Account information — name, email, password, preferences
• Vehicles — all vehicle profiles and VIN data
• Maintenance records — service history, logs, and events
• Maintenance schedules — custom schedules, overrides, and reminders
• Photos and documents — all uploaded images, receipts, and files
• Parts catalog — saved parts, fluids, and supplier information
• Tire and recall data — tire tracking, safety alerts, and recall history
• RV and specialty data — components, usage logs, towable profiles
• Planning sessions — maintenance plans, checklists, and guides
• Login sessions — active sessions and biometric credentials
• Feedback — any bug reports or feature requests you submitted

What We Retain

• Deletion audit log — a minimal compliance record containing only a hashed user identifier, deletion timestamp, and aggregate record counts. This contains no personal information and is retained for legal compliance.
• Anonymized analytics — aggregated, non-identifiable usage statistics that cannot be linked back to your account.

Timing

• Free accounts: Deletion begins immediately upon confirmation.
• Premium accounts with active subscription: Deletion is scheduled for when your current subscription period ends. You can continue using the app until then.
• All personal data is purged within 30 days of the deletion being executed.
